It's COLD

A few night ago, around 11 AM, Isabelle and I looked through our living-room windows and saw a flurry of small white specks falling on our cars.

"What is THAT?!"

​I can't tell you how many times I've heard Isabelle say, "It's cold", just this week alone. It's been hilarious. For some reason, her room feels like she has three poltergeists living in it compared to my furnace-like room. She doesn't have winter wardrobe and, most days, she bulks at the temperature displayed on her phone. But the indignation in her voice while she glared out the window at that moment is one that I will forever think fondly back on (with laughter)

Sorry, mama, but winter is coming and it ain't gonna be pretty. But we can watch some good TV with hot chocolate and a blanket without being judged now. And we will be enjoying Florida weather before we know it!
