Ironwood

photos by Rachel Lauren
About the photographer
Picture
Rachel Lauren takes her job with her animals seriously and it comes first before most things in her life. She grew up training and showing dogs where she learned the importance of animal handling and husbandry. Always a creative, she picked up her first camera at thirteen. Her trusty shepherd mix Zero served as her model as she honed her craft. In 2010, she graduated from CCAD with a BFA in Photography. She now owns and operates the ambassador program Ironwood Wolves. Along with featuring her animals in creative collaborations, she takes them to public venues and educate others on the importance of wolves (and other wild canids) in the ecosystem.
