I am not what I am
poem by Dr. Deepak Chaswal
Whenever I try to find myself
in the mirror, I see an image which Looks like me But which is not what I am Whenever I look at the sky The birds look at me With curiosity To know what I am Which they think, I always hide - This may or may not be true Whenever somebody talks to me I do reply, but the reply Does not necessarily mean what I really mean I am not what I am simply Because I was not what I was And I will not be what I should be As I am lost somewhere Since my inception. |
